Oh my gosh, I just found this website. How could I have missed it? It is awesome. I really enjoyed the pictures, notes and "the book" about the Barnball event last year. I wish I could have been there. Unfortunately, I won't make it this year either. I wish I was closer. I really enjoyed the 30th reunion and last year's sounded even better. Thanks to all who have played a part in planning any of the reunions as well as putting together this website. I hope that it will stay on the web permanently. The more pictures you can include, the better. How fun! If anyone has any videos, maybe they could upload to YouTube.com unless this site can include them. Hope this year's mini reunion will be a hit. Best wishes and God Bless to you all.
Jon, great to hear from you, but you're still officially in the missing column until we have an address. Please email it to us at cchsreunion67@yahoo.com.
Looking forward to our "Mini" 2008 reunion. I hope that some of our classmates who couldn't be at the 40th reunion in 2007 will be able to attend this mini reunion.
There is a deep sadness that has taken hold of that those of us whose life he was in . God made him very special and I have many memories that are unique and enrichening. He was unique with intelligent ...far beyond the norm and died way too soon. He was my friend for forty some years. The world will miss him I will miss him.
Thanks so much for the DVD. What a great way to remember the reunion events and of course our wonderful Clarence friends. (we do need support tools to remember :)
Thanks again and we send our sincere Holiday best wishes to all of you.
What a great party! My reunion photos are posted at Walmart. You can view them here. If you want any, email me and I can email 4 at a time. More than that, you need to order through Walmart.
Well, I think I have finally recovered from August 10-11....and the year before doing preparation! We have received VERY positive feedback from many people. Speaking for all of those on the committee, we felt this was our best reunion yet! I though Ivy Ridge was a wonderful place to have the reunion - the weather was perfect to be outside. And the food.....YUM-OH!!!
Thanks to everyone who made this reunion so much fun! Also to Wendy for the link to the pictures of all the gatherings. It was a picture perfect weekend and the Buffalo weather was the best. Hope we get to see some of you in your travels through the west! Ten years is too long of a time in between now!!
Jim and I had a wonderful time at the 40th! We especially thank the efforts of the Reunion Committee who made it a very special evening. You folks from Clarence made a city girl feel at home. Great job with choice of venue, MCs and activities. Jim will frame his "Reunion Virgin" book mark and enjoy his "Lost Ball" java mug. He's out practicing for the next round! We'll be next year in August for his nephew's wedding, so we hope to run into some of you during our stay. God bless you! Gita
I have uploaded the class and band group pictures that I had with me at the reunion into the "Photos from the Past" album. If anyone wants me to send them pictures directly, let me know. I'd be happy to. Marybeth
I know that I speak for all of our classmates--particularly the Barnball players--when I say that we all extend our sincere sympathies to Jim Morrow in the wake of the sudden death of his son-in-law. I know he was very excited about coming and participating in the reunion of the varsity team with Coach Johnt, as well as seeing everyone, and he would have been with us had it not been for this tragic circumstance.
Hi to all my old friends... well... not OLD friends. Late '50s hardly qualifies for that. In any case, I'm sorry to be unable to see you at the reunion this decade. Next time...
FYI, I have been in Manhattan since 1972, am still happily single, write word puzzles for a living, and average 3 hours of tennis every other day all year round. I just visited family in Buffalo for a week in July and enjoyed an architectural tour of the city that Glenn Atwell gave for me and my girlfriend. Glenn and I have been exchanging the same bagel every year for 40 years now, but that's another story.
Hello everyone... I was really looking forward to attending this reunion. With a heavy heart, I have to cancel my reunion plans. A death in the family last night requires my presence here in California. I'll miss seeing everyone and playing in the "barnball" game. My thanks goes out to the organizing committee for a job well done. God willing, I'll see you all at the next reunion.
Looking forward to seeing everyone.
It's been a long time - 40 years - but than again, it seems just like yesterday when you see all the familiar faces and names on the website.
Hope to see more yesses on the list --
A special Thank You to our wonderful committee -- a job well done.
See you Friday and Saturday! Marie

I can't believe it's been 40years already! I have tons of great pictures just have to dig them out and scan them onto this sight somehow. If not I'll bring them with me! Peter and I are happily enjoying life and our 2 precious little grandsons and traveling whenever time allows. Our kids are great and we enjoy good times with family and friends. I'm a little "rounder at the elbow" than I would like to be for this reunion but Hey! You can't have everything! What great memories I have of those good old days. Elaine Ingelfinger and Sue Grytten both told me they were coming. How come our names aren't on the list yet??!!! You guys better be there!! See you all soon! Love, "Sench"
Having not attending a class reunion, barnball did it for me. I am usually hiding in the Adirondacks for four to five weeks and enjoy. This year I plan on being part of the great time I expect at the reunion. Thanks to the whole crew that spent so much time to make it a winner. Looking forward to meeting my past friends and making more. { I'm not as shy anymore}. Be well and see you all soon.....Doug
I sure hope the "YES" list expands with the last mailing. If Deedee Sloman and Daryl Joseph can come in from California and I can come up from Florida, then we need to see ALL the classmates who live within an easy drive. Please plan to come - we'd love to see as many classmates as possible. If you haven't already - sign up to come TODAY!!
Valerie and I really enjoyed the 30th and we are looking forward to the 40th. It's hard to believe that time passes so quickly. I've been in California since 1975 (the flying weather is better!) but the rest of my family still lives in Amherst, Akron, and Lancaster. See you all in August!
I was unable to attend the past 3 reunions. I've lived in Miami over 30 years now, and I have 2 grown children who are 21 and 24 and go to college, b ut don't want to move out! I was kind of shy in high school, I've gotten over that finally! I look forward to seeing so many people I remember so well, and of course, my dearest friend, Carol Selin!
This also will be my first reunion. I look forward with anticipation and reflection. I have been married 38 years with 4 amazing children and have just had the birth of my first two grandchildren this past year. Will you remember me will I remember you?
Well, as of this writing, it's 60 days and counting. I hope that as many of us as possible can make it--I know the committee has been working really hard to insure that we will have a great, memorable event: the blood, the sweat, the tears, the incredible, reoccurring hangovers! They have been paying the price! Come to the "Barnball" game at the HS gym with "Howie" Johnt and the "boys", play or just kick back and marvel at the over reaching audacity of our geriatric attempts at sports. Can't wait.
I trust everyone who is attending will have a wonderful week-end full of great memories. CCHS seems like a lifetime ago. My best wishes go to the class of 1967.
Those of us who have been on the reunion committees for the last 30 or 40 years have a unique perspective on the evolution of the event. From hand written 3 x 5 cards stored in a shoe box to data bases, e-mails, search engines and websites! Awesome! This time around is by far the most exciting and rewarding! The interaction has been wonderful and I look forward to seeing you all in August!
Hi everyone. I live in Charlotte, NC now and just graduated our daughter from Chapel Hill. We still have one son going to NC State. I work for IBM and will be on assignment in Evansville, IN. but will catch a flight to Buffalo for the weekend and will bring my golf clubs. I'm looking forward to seeing ya'll.
I am bummed I cannot attend. It was the reunion or my oldest daughter's wedding. Tough choice but my wife pushed me in the right direction. Do they still have field parties in Clarence?
My congrats and appreciation to all those involved in organizing this 40th, and the website is fantastic! Looking forward to catching up on old times. If I can make this long journey to this reunion, I certainly don't understand why Lumpy can't make it! Come on Bob, catch a plane.
My wife asked me “Why would you want to go to a reunion when you haven’t seen any of these people for 40 years”? Good question. Like Jim A., I do have a lot of fond memories of many good friends at that time. So why not? And, the thought of 8-10 guys - few with a complete set of working body parts - reliving their youth playing basketball will be, shall we say, a spectacle. No matter what anyone claims, when guys get in a competitive event, they quit thinking with their brains. No wonder one of my students from near Erie PA says she will seriously consider driving up to watch.
One of the old sayings that I always seem to recall is “don’t forgetting where you came from”. It applies to many things but, it particularly reminds me of Clarence and our time together. I’ve always felt that so much of who I am today was cast in our years together and the relationships we developed. To be able to reconnect yet another time is something I look forward to and is a direct result of the significant efforts of this [and past] Reunion Committee. I know you all may look forward to “Passing the Baton” but, whatever happens, you’ll be a hard act to follow!!!!!!
I figured out that if you stayed in Buffalo, you must serve on this committee. Gary Brooks moved to Detroit for this very reason. Poor Gail, Alana, Tom, Jane, et al, you must either move or pawn this off to others for the 50th. That one will be held in a nursing home. I am trying to justfy a trip back to the States from my home in Singapore to make the occasion. This will be great fun celebrating great memories.
Thanks for the committee once again getting this together. We'll be there! We've been in Phoenix since 1971, have a married daughter in Hoboken, NJ. No grandchildren yet! We have been in Buffalo several times and walked through the high school a few years ago. Memories galore -- it was summer and halls were quiet but it felt like I could look in a room and see you all trying to get through Mr. Lynch's class! Twilight Zone moment!!
I've been told that at the last reunion, I was listed in the "In Memoriam" section of the reunion booklet. Well....I'm still kickin" and I'll be at this one just to prove it! See everyone in August.
40 years ! no way...can't be possible! seems like just yesterday I was so excited to park my little 1950 VW Beetle in the school parking lot..wish I had that car now, be worth some $$$. Sorry can't attend this years reunion..but keep me posted..fun to see some of the photos on this website...
40 years too much time to cover here! But briefly, I've been married 34 years with 2 well grown (I hope) children and 2 grandkids. Moved 6 times in 5 years, but have been in NH for the last 20. My brother and sister still live in Buffalo so I visit often.
I've enjoyed all 3 reunions so far and am looking forward to this one. Can't wait to see all of YOU!
Even though my folks lived in Clarence only for seven years, all the experiences of high school make it seem as much "home" to me as anywhere has been. That some of you have lived in the area for all the intervening years is very hard to imagine for a displaced "Yankee" who has now spent almost half his life in Kentucky.
Hello to everyone. Much thanx to the Committee for all of the incredible efforts you have made in organizing this reunion event. I am especially looking forward to walking the halls of our High School. I have been told that it is very different now - after years of modifications. I am very different now too. Age does that to you.
Sure do wish I could attend. Will be returning from my personal paradise (Florida Keys) that day and just ran out of hours in the day. Two years ago, I returned to the area after almost 25 years. So much is just the same as I remembered. Fond memories filled with good people. Enjoy the day and renew the friendships of days past.
Almost impossible to believe 40 years have passed. We still live in the area, still are working (must of picked the wrong occupation....almost everyone is retired???) and enjoying our 2 daughters and our 4 so far grandchildren...we are expecting twin grand-babies on Aug 11th. hope they arrive early in the day...
I'm working on the missing list with the help of my mom who's still in Clarence Center. We've already gotten a couple of addresses. If you have any info on anyone, email me at cchsreunion67@yahoo.com. I'm making a database with past information from the 77 & 97 booklets.

Can't wait to see you all at our 40th. We hope it will be an event to remember.
I am not missing, I am right here in Sunnyvale California, where I have been for over 30 years.
This really brings back memories some good, some not so good.
It has been so much fun working on this reunion. Gail and Alana are really take charge women and doing a great job! To all of you...please try to attend. I think it will be a wonderful time.It is amazing how much we have to share after all these years.
Super Kudos to the Committee they have done a great job for the past thirty years! The time, the dedication, the hard work, the hangovers! We're going to have a great time and catch up with some of the very fundamental friendships of our lives--ah to be teenagers again, falling down drunk at a field party, cruzin' around in our parents cars, going to drive-ins, dances at the Town Park, etc. Calling all basketball players, make the "Barn Ball Flashback" on Saturday. See everybody there.
The committee is working hard to make this reunion the best yet. Looking forward to sharing a few old stories and catching up on current events. Not to mention downing a few cold ones.
Congratulations to the committee, you are doing a GREAT job pulling this reunion together!
Kathy and I are here in Michigan and doing well, having just married our youngest son away this weekend (4/6).
We are really looking forward to seeing all of you and doing some partying with the Clarence Devils of 67!
